When you ask a supplier for inventory, they’ll tell you the truth. This is why you need to know how many units are available. And what their lead time is before placing an order with them. You can’t expect them to make something up just so it sounds like they have stock.
2.If you're not sure how many units are available.
Or if they can fill your order within a certain time frame, ask them. They’ll be able to tell you exactly what they have. And when it will be ready for pickup. This way, there won’t be any surprises when you go pick up your order. Or when it arrives on the truck.
3.If you need to know if the supplier can meet your needs, ask them.
They’ll be able to tell you if they have what you’re looking for. How many units are available. And when those items will be ready for pickup or delivery. This way, you won’t waste time trying to find an alternative supplier. Who does carry what you’re looking for.
Some suppliers are honest and some suppliers are not. Then we must ask the price, quantity and freight before placing an order. Extra charges and so on. But have a high minimum order value. Which means they will only ship if you spend a certain amount of money on their product. For example, if there’s a $25 minimum order value and you only want to purchase one item from them. They won’t ship it because it doesn’t meet their standards.
4.The supplier will only accept a certain type of payment.
Such as credit or debit cards. If you don’t have these types of cards, you won’t be able to purchase from them.
All in all, the supplier may be out of stock. Or the quantity ordered is not the minimum starting quantity of the supplier. Or the payment method is not the same.
Then why sleep no goods, do not want to do business?
You can contact the supplier directly and ask them if they have any available stock. If they do, you could purchase it from them directly. If not, then there are other options for sourcing products from different suppliers.
